CrossFit Parramatta is a community of dedicated people who are committed to achieving tangible long-term health and fitness. At CrossFit Parramatta every person becomes a part of the community and gets individual attention and coaching. We work on technique and skills everyday to make you a better athlete.
In each class you attend you will be warmed up, shown the exercises in the workout and appropriate scaling, you will be timed, encouraged, motivated and then cooled down at the end. Essentially a full personal training session in a group environment.
The best thing about CrossFit is that you don’t need to be a motivated person. We will be motivating and pushing you through the workouts. And most workouts only last for about 15-20 minutes so you’re done before you know it. These workouts are so effective that you will feel like you have exercised for 3 hours!
The CrossFit program is designed to give you maximum results in shorter time duration. Our program is your regimen. We provide you with the necessary tools you need to achieve your fitness goals. Most people go to the gym daily and waste their valuable time, doing the same thing day in and day out. Here, you won’t even see the same workout for a couple months at a time. You will notice a difference in how you look, you how you feel, strength and endurance.
Why We’re Different
CrossFit is an integrated approach to fitness that builds strength and increases endurance with high intensity workouts that are adaptable to any level of conditioning. Rather than working muscles in isolation, the exercises involve the entire body, a method that gets balanced results much quicker than traditional programs that separate the weight room from the aerobics studio. We aim to optimise physical performance in ALL the elements of fitness to produce ‘complete’ athletes.
CrossFit is for people of all fitness levels, from the complete beginner to the advanced athlete. Your needs and the advanced athlete’s differ by degree not kind. Increased power, strength, cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, flexibility, stamina, coordination, agility, and balance are each important to the world’s best athletes and to our grandparents, maintaining optimal health and functional independence. If you think that strength isn’t important, consider that strength loss is what puts people in nursing homes.
CrossFit is unique in its universal scalability, meaning two people at completely different fitness levels can perform the same workout using movements best suited to each of their individual capabilities.
The CrossFit program develops functional core strength which not only translates to other sports but also increases the body’s stamina for training and promotes faster recovery. Our program will help to increase work capacity in just about any other sport including climbing, football, boxing and even triathlons!
